The Vestry Corner highlights the minutes from the last vestry meeting.  The June meeting was held June 25, 2009.
Bibles will be ordered for the two youth graduating from High School this year.
Llew Adams presented information regarding resolutions that will be put before diocesan council.
Discussion was held regarding the Bishop’s visit.  Vestry members were grateful for his suggestions and will implement ideas that he shared.
A card with a gift of money has been sent to Judy Jacobs in appreciation of her years of service.
Carrie Beithon will continue as secretary.
The audit should be completed by September. 
Roger Harty discussed working on the retaining wall with other church members since the bid for the work was more than expected
Carrie Beithon reported that Pickett, Ltd. will do quarterly and year end tax reports
A new vacuum was purchased.
A new answering machine will be purchased for the office.
A letter will be sent to the congregation regarding Pastor Don Peterson’s Pastoral Care services.
Discussion was held regarding creating a church directory.
Committee descriptions will be rewritten.
The church picnic will be held on Wed. August 12th at 5:30pm prior to the Uff da Mountain Boys.
Discussion was held with regard to opening the church for outside church functions.
The Lake Alice Cyclone Tour and Ice Cream Social were both successful.
Cheryl is planning on working on a booklet on the church’s history.
The ECW agreed to donate $300 for the beautification of the undercroft.
